Default How much boost can a 918 spring hold on a 550 lift cam?

I have the 02 zo6 cam and I am running 15-17 psi of boost, with the 918 spring. I was wondering if you guys think I am getting valve float. My power seams to be droping off 4500 rpm do you think? I dont think its the intake. the intake normally starts to drop at 5500 rpms right?

Intake limitations are not by RPM, but by CFM. Yes, it kills power about 5500 RPM on a NA engine, but you'd be about right to exceed the CFM limitations at or even before 4500 under that much boost! Even with the AFR corrected, I'd still be watching the other members doing the intake swaps to learn everything they already know...

I think its a definate possibility, Id be looking at some nice double springs with a higher seat pressure.

Thanks for the info, I just put the ls1 intake on. I just have a couple hoses to hook up and I need a fan belt. I'll drive it for a day or two and put it on the dyno with the same tune and see what it does. I will post as soon as I can. Thanks Bryan
