Guess now is where this would come in....Boost at your own risk!!

I am speaking from my own experiance....When I was running the stock high mileage 5.3 I ran 10 PSI on pump gas daily with a good tune....Motor lasted about a year before it just gave up.

I tuned a stock 5.3 on the street today with a D1, pumping out 18psi of boost!!! That thing was insane for a stock motor...had super cold plugs, and I tuned it with 16 degrees of timing. I can't see how that thing has lived...but he had it on another motor for a year or so

What size pulley were you using to get 10 psi? And how were you driving it? How many miles on the motor when it gave out?

3.0 got me to 10 PSI. How did I drive it? Like I stole it!
