I have been looking at buying a 6.0l that is supposedly low mileage. I remember something about the paint on the water pump pulley coming off at like 40,000 miles roughly? Is this about right or was it sooner? Please help!

Nevermind, found an old Parish8 thread that helped out a bunch.

 

i am sure there are variables but from what i have seen the paint is still mostly there at 50,000miles.
