C3 come with a 4L80E? If so, you will be fine.

That's correct ... It depends on what blower you buy. I can tell you from experience, the RADIX kit will blow through a stock tranny in a truck that heavy pretty quickly! A good shift kit and servo replacement will go a long ways though.

All I have is HPP3 extra line pressure, and I just had the tranny shop take a look. Still perfect. Whipple for 25,000mi, but it's all in how hard you drive it.

6.0c3....you have the 4L65E. Far better than stock from the factory than the 4L60E. I'd say get a TransGo properly installed (key is properly) with no washers in the 1-2 accumulator and both billet servos and I'd hold up probably for a while. Also a larger cooler and deep pan helps.

jdpanero .....but you are using the stock Whipple tune nay? If so, you run pretty rich and a considerable amount of TqMgt. If you got it fully tuned, your's would be smoked in short order too.

Stock pulley. But even when I reduce/eliminated tq mgt (Edit is coming soon), then it still depends a lot on how you drive it. I hope no tq mgt doesn't kill my tranny.

The stock tranny probably won't last long without any torque management if it sees a lot of heavy throttle shifts. I'm getting a custom computer and getting rid of 80% of it and all of it in the abuse mode. But I guess as everyone else is saying, it's depends mostly on how you drive it.

10,000 supercharged miles on my 4L65, no problems yet. And I certainly would not say I am taking it easy on the throttle It's just tooooo fun to stomp on it!!!
