how to install an intank fuel pump?

Default how to install an intank fuel pump?

just wanted to know the best way to go about installing this for my radix. would it be best to pull the bed, or will the tank just drop? thanks

SOOO much easier to remove the bed.
8 bolts hold it on

i vote for the bed. 8 bolts, filler neck, and two plugs for the taillights. i did my fuel pump in 2 hours start to finish. its a real beeotch if you have any decent amount of gas in your tank if you want to drop it.

Dropping the tank is a piece of cake, I did a little write-up, its in a sticky up top.

Dropping the tank is a piece of cake. Takes about 1 1/2 hours start to finish. Make sure to run the tank down to E before you try to drop the tank.

I would not take the risk of damaging the bed. Why not just run the tank empty and drop it from below. Two bolts holding the cover, two holding the straps, 3-4 lines to un plug and you are free. 45 min MAX if the tank is empty and easy to handle.
