HOW TO DROP BED DOWN
#1
I have a 2002 chev. truck 2wd and I want to get the back end down so the truck seats even. I took a lee- spring out of my 98 truck but it had 4 and the new truck has only 3!
THANKS FOR ANY HELP <img border="0" alt="[Truck]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_truck.gif" />

When I measured the rake on my 2000 GMC 2wd it was 2" difference from front to back.
It should be the same for the '02's so all you will need is a 2" hanger or 2" shackle to get the rear down.
I'll email you a place that has good prices and good service. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

if you just want to lower it an inch or so you could also just buy like 4 exhaust clamps and clamp you longest spring to the top spring. This is really easy and quick drop.

2" drop shackles is what you need they are cheep about 47$ your local customizing shop should have them on hand. It only takes about 15 min. if you have the right tools and jack and jack stands. They will try to charge you a little over a 100$ to install them. But it is very simple.
