The fuel mileage sucks in the 1/4 mile.

Do you know the size of the stock fuel line on a Duramax? The fuel return line to the tank is bigger than most cars feed line.

Default 15 years later, what do you think?

I know this thread is old, but now that the 6.0 PSD has had the test of time, how do you think it compares to the LLY Duramax? I am getting ready to purchase a 2005 2500HD silverado with a Duramax, 152000 miles, just wanted to see what you guys thought.

Thanks!

Good truck but it is gonna come down to how it has been maintained. They all have their issues and common wear items that need to be addressed from time to time. Shoot me a PM and I can tell you some commons to look for on that truck.

I have a 6.0PSD and its a terrible thing, but its only money to fix it, right?

However, I have met a couple DMax's that have been abused, IMO and one of them is over 300k. It sounds tired, but it still pulls 12k lbs pretty well IMO.

By no means am I a diesel guy, or saying that the DMax is my fav diesel, but its a damn good motor and 152k aint nothing IMO
