On the juice, I was still spinning the rear wheels with autotrac turned on. Hit a 2.4 60' w/ autotrac. Next pass, I locked it in 4HI, and took a 1.9x 60'.
Off the juice, autotrac seems to work just fine.

auto 4wd here, if i didn't have the auto4wd then i would just lock it into 4hi. it just takes a tiny amout of wheel spin to slow you down.

I have a 99 ex-cab 5.3. I don't know how much the tranny will hold. I have only launched out of the hole those two times. The rest of the time, I hit the juice from a roll.

I have yet to take the tuck to the track but logged tons of G-Tech time in it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
My best ETs came from stalling up the converter a bit and launching full throttle with Auto 4-Wheel on. If I launch without it I will spin and seriously hurt my times. Also if I don't manually shift it between 5800-6000rpm I lose time.
My avg times without Auto 4-Wheel or manual shifting is 15.90s, my avg time doing all of the above is 15.40-15.50.
