Is there a rail that will fit the L92 truck intake that is a return type? or was my question backwards, sorry

I have L92 rails, and I need to mod/add something to my fuel system to account for removing the FPR that was mounted on the old truck intake's fuel rails. Hope this helps more.

The 2001-03(early) fuel filter regulator would be the vintage. IMO, it will not by you anything. I've dealt with C5's over the years and with any fuel system its better to have the regulator as close to the fuel rail as possible. Thing is that not many, if any, have tried to run an earlier vintage truck return style fuel rail on the newer L76/L92 truck intakes. You may wind up having to make your own aftermarket rails for a return setup on that intake. If thats the case you MUST share with pics here

For return style part numbers... I would look up CHEVYRACER83 over in his thread in GM General Discussion. He can help you quickly find the parts necessary to piece a truck style return system together. OR, go to a junkyard and find a complete rail setup.

thanks again. after I got the right name for what I was looking for I found this
with the part numbers and pics

I even found some limited discussion about putting it in the engine bay, close to the fuel rails. With trucks I can see it being easier b/c of the extra room under the hood. When I find pieces to this L92 puzzle I am putting together I get excited that I might actually make it work...now getting the cam might be another story

Agreed, if you can get it near the rails then that would be great. Couple things though...

That regulator/filter is not adjustable and cannot be referenced for boost. If you are not concerned about either then you might be on to something that will work for you. I, for one, am always interested in different ideas that folks come with. If it works for you then the only "requirements" are that you share the setup with pics and a detailed writeup j/k...

will do, the more pics I take the more people will look.

I just swapped the air box lid to see if it would fit and it sure does!! I was worried about fitting the larger MAF in there but GM has made it easier, its gonna bolt up to my stock air box.
