How to disconnect fuel lines with out the tool??

Here is what I have: Lisle 37000 Air Conditioning/Fuel Line Disconnect Tool Set : Amazon.com : Automotive
I just used it so I know it works, and it did the job well. When it comes down to it, all you're doing is depressing some metal tabs.
