Well, if you haven't figured this out (or bought a set) by this evening...shoot me a PM and I'll bring mine to work tomorrow, which is right around the corner from ya...For the cost of the proper "tool", or an offer to borrow the proper tool, I wouldn't be prodding around the lines/locks with screwdrivers and ****...******* cavemen, lol...

those lines are expensive as hell when you F them up. buy a $6.00 tool from vato zone and do it the right way.

When I started to do the fast intake swap it was late and couldnt find my actual tool so i cut the end of a funnel off and opened up one side to get it over the line.... worked like a champ...

Kind of an old thread, but can someone post a pic of the correct tool? I've bought 2 of these damn things from Auto Zone and neither one fit, the aluminum criss cross thing and the round plastic discs...I ended up using the barrel of a crayola marker as mentioned above.

Will not fit due to the OD of the tool is too big to fit into the fitting to depress the tabs

What you want is the red tool from this package:

OEM 25150 Four-Piece Aluminum Disconnect Set - Amazon.com

Stay away from the cheap plastic ones and the universal disconnect tools. They are not deep enough to disengage the locking teeth.
