Don't forget either a built 60e or a 80e. Your trans will not last long if your building for power.

I'd think you would want more gear and a looser converter to get that 4.8L into the 12's. Probably a 218/218 or 220/220 cam. Take that with a grain of salt though and do a lot of searching. I'm sure you aren't the first one with these goals

Do a turbo kit and a built transmission.

Default Thank you for the replys so far

This gives me a little hope ,thanks for the cam specs too. does anyone have a part# on that cam shaft or opinions on it as well. Turbo is deffinately out of the budget right now. im looking at a 4 grand build not a max effort. this is a cruisen truck and i do ride it on weekends. wont be beating it and spraying very often just would like to know i can run with 12 second vehicls if need be. as far as the stock 4l60e , should it be fine with just the bolt ons, cam and tune i listed. will a shift kit or any cheaper parts help it last. i understand the nitrous(150) will be hard on it there for will be running n/a 99% of the time. Also does anyone have some traction bar part numbers <i cannot find them anywhere
