I emailed comp cams and asked if they made a mistake on the last cam specs they gave. They must have...I don't know jack about cams, this is what they said i would need for my set up.See sig for mods.A yank tt3000 converter soon to be installed as well(hopefully this weekend )

Well, at least you are now looking at cam that will fit. I forgot what you wanted out of a cam. But with you getting that converter, you can sacrifice some low end for better performance. So, you should at least go with the comp 212 / 218 cam. That will make very good power and will compliment that converter very well.

I've had my TT300 for 2 weeks now, and love it. My gas mileage hasn't changed much either.

It may be a little small imo. especially since you are blown. Check out the 208/216 .500 or .530 lifts at 113lsa.

If i were to go with that cam or the one Ryan23silverado suggested..what kind of tuning issues would i run into?I plan to get the truck dyno tuned, but that requires a roadtrip and i may not have the cashflow right away to do it.Would it hurt anything or hurt driveability til i could get it tuned. How much hp would i be looking at gaining?Would there be any gain at all without tuning?
Thanks for your help guys

You really wont have any tuning issues. It might want to lop a little and might want to stall at lower rpms, but probably not. It should be just fine.

Now I just need to figure out what cam will be best with the blower.I haven't been able to find anyone running a cam with a whipple.
Which one do you think will be the best way to go?

I would also recommend stepping up to the 212/218. I would think you could use a little more lift as well. If I rember correctly there is someone on here tring to sell that exact cam used for a pretty good price.

Install not a problem...I have a slight advantage there.I'm a service writer at a mercedes/porsche dealer and my best friend happens to be the team leader of my tech team.He really enjoys hotrods and such and likes doing custom work.He installed my whipple, the lowering kit and just today installed my yank tt3000 converter.I helped a little, passed tools and held things steady
Thanks to him being such a good friend,i've saved a ton on labor.Gotta lot of good guys at our shop, they helped me with the header install as well as some of my other mods.

Ranwalk, I went with the 53-411-12 (the next bigger cam) from Comp, and was very pleased with the results. I had a Whipple on the truck before I did the cam swap, and picked up 27HP with tuning. I ran for about a week and a half without tuning and had no real problems, but definitely noticed an improvment after the tuning was done.
