whoa fellas take it easy...a throttle body spacer does NOTHING for a MPI (muli port injection) motor, which, I believe is what our trucks have. As for carbed applications and the older TBI's, there is a small gain from them!

Rook:The funniest part is there are 15 posts and not one answers his question.

RatedZ: With the mods you mentioned, forgetting the spacer, you might see 20 to 30 extra horses over stock. That may be generous though and that doesn't mean it will all transfer from the flywheel to the wheels. I bet you would feel a little difference in performance but I doubt you'll be impressed.

Thanks for the input! I dont have the dreaded spacer on the truck but was thinking about it. Rook's just pissed cause his daddy probably took his truck away for the week

that'd be funny...except i pay for the truck...and insurance, etc etc. yes, he did co-sign on the loan..being 20 and no credit history is a bitch.

but the truck is in my parking lot...as i don't live with my parents, me and my fiancee live together. on our own, no help from either parents.

and i still can afford to do 'real' mods to my truck, via Cam/springs/pushrods....not spacers and descreening maf

you showed me little man. I spend most my money on my car, not my slow pickup.
