Got the summit mag today.. everytime i pass by my desk i swear i could hear it say "open me and spend all YOUR effin money"... but i think thats just my addiction talking.
Anyway... I'm going long tubes, to a single collector(which is 3in. right?),cut out, and than muffler, and than out before the passenger tire.
My question is... are Hookers and Summit's mufflers both good mufflers to consider? I kno the usual which is recommened are Dynomax or Magnaflow... but as far as performance.. does hooker or summit have a step up on any of them. I really dont want too much cab noise, im getting tired of the flowmasters noise (and im sure all you previous flow owners know what im saying)... so any advice and help would be greatly appreciated...
Thx!
- Tiffany.

i have the pacesetter lt's and ory. i have it bolted to my stock cat back, 3in single in/out hooker aerochamber in place of stock muffler, and the stock tail pipe. it has a good lope at idle and cruising speeds it's awsome, no cab noise, resonance, drone, what ever yall call it. whenever you punch it's loud, deep and raspy like an SS or transam. as for performance i've seen them get just as much torque if not more than running with open headers. hope this is what you are looking for. you have my vote for hooker...

I like my Hooker muffs a lot. I couldn't be happier with them. I did notice a difference with the cutouts open, but I'm moving a lot of air. There's a sound clip in my sig and a couple more here.

A guy here at work has a hooker single-in,dual-out...don't know which number it is or his gains but it sounds good...not raspy. His truck is a 00 Silvy,RCSB,5.3,3.42 (I think),FIPK and ran a 15.52 at 87.XX
