What is the pipe diameter going into and out of the muffler? Are you running a 2 In 2 Out setup? Are you running a 1 In 2 Out setup?

Many things contribute to the tone and sound of an exhaust. My opinion.....put a couple of High Flow Cats in the mix and it should make it less Snappy and Obnoxious.

is it leaking?

i put 2 of these on a coworkers truck and i had a hell of a time getting the beefy *** inlet/outlests to seal with a u bolt clamp or a band clamp

we finally put muffler paste on it and a band clamp

I was going to say something isnt sealed up right if it sounded like ****. I'm running an aerochamber with stock headers and it sounds mean, could only imagine what it would sound like with long tubes.

Not sure what yr/truck you drive but here is a quick sound clip from mine with just a muffler swap.
