Honest Opinions Replacing 4.8 with 6.0 is a cam swap worth the extra cash for D.D.?

What trans are you running? Stock 4L60E?
Its worth doing right now tho. With the engine out it's much easier to work on than with it in. so YES it's worth doing right now. Then later when the supporting mods are added it'll just be THAT much better.

IMO go with a little more stall. Circle D is offering a 2800-3200 stall right now for under $400. I'm running the same stall on my 216/220 and want to bump to a 3600.
I realize you aren't wanting a big stall but the 2800-3200 they offer is almost perfectly where you want to be IMO. Great driving manners and gets into the power sooner when you floor it.
