Honest Opinions Replacing 4.8 with 6.0 is a cam swap worth the extra cash for D.D.?

If the block is out might as well upgrade the cam and springs. It'll be worth it, save you labor/time in the future when you want more go fast goodies. My SC'ed cammed truck is my DD with no big issues other than fuel costs....

the 6.0 is going to be some much nicer for daily driving than the 4.8. I'd go ahead and do a small cam, something like 210/218 112, that wont require any modifications to your stock exhaust or torque converter.

sounds good . . . get an external tranny cooler while you're at it . . . I got the 40K GRW cooler, and it rarely goes over 110* I have it running in a series with the stock radiator cooler.

212/218 - high or low lift ? . . . either one is a great ballzy cam. You can drive that cam just fine with the stock converter/gears too.

It's so much easier to do a cam swap with the motor already out vs being in the truck.
