what part number air filter did you guys use on yours and also what did you use for a heat shield. i want to make my heat shield like the ones in the k&n fipk. thanks in advance

i got the kit from ebay. 40 bucks and it was the easiest way to go.

Here is a pic of mine. I got most of the parts from the plumbing section of Home Depot.

The filter I sued is the stock K&N that would be used on a 96-99 GM truck.
