Default The Holy Grail.............

Well guys, I've found it, my search is over. I've settled on a camshaft; thru alotta hemming and hawing and what not, I still wnated to stay kinda small for torque and towing sake. It's a Comp Cams XR259HR which specs out at 206/212 - .515/.522 on 112 LSA. Man I'm so jizzed! I always wanted a tighter LSA and that 112 is just perfect! Well I be OK with the Yellow LS6 valve springs?
Thanks again for puttin' up with me, guys, like I said B4- takes awhile for the light to go on...................

Sounds like a good cam for your application. Nothing wrong with spending time to make such an important decision.
What will you do for tuning once installed?

I don't know, that's a really small cam, you probably won't even notice a difference

Congrats on the choice.

I hope you like it as much as I do.

The yellow springs are plenty. I have been running them for 30K+

Yeah- I'm beginning to realize that you can have yer cake and eat it too with these LSx engines. The fact of the tight LAS causes the valve events to occur faster, or closer together which helps retain or even enhance to llow end while add to the midrange and some top as well. Damn this is getting good............
