you need to install an inline pcv valve. go to holley website and pull up the instructions for the valve covers. it will give you two choices of brands for the inline pcv valve. I think it was beck arnley and fram iirc. If you don't, you will pull a lot of oil into the intake or your catch can.

I have these on my motor - you'll need to run a fixed orifice pcv and I would suggest a catch can as well. Just put it in line between the valve and the intake. I can post a pic if needed.

You mean these coils? the stock truck coils? The one's pictured came off an 04 Silverado 4.8. I have some from an 01 Yukon that bolt right up also because they are identical.

Some of the truck coils have a different bolt spacing, majority will work. The coils pictured above by biged have the standard bolt spacing so they work.

Can you provide part numbers for the pictured coils? Are the MSD any hotter spark than the stock ones?

COPIED FROM HOLLEY Valve cover manual:

NOTE: Some applications, as pictured below, have internal PCV restrictions inside the cover assembly. If your application utilizes this type of connection, an external PCV valve must be added in-line on the hose. If needed, suggested PCV valves are: (1) Beck/Arnley P/N 0450299 or (2) Fram P/N FV340.
