Thunderbolt metallic cats are the best bang for your buck that I have found in all my searching.

High flow
Metallic
Reasonably priced

I have a set of "high flow" cats on my truck, but they don't do much. When I was looking for replacement cat that actually works I ran across the old Vibrant GESI cats. They stopped making them but another company makes them. I will warn you, they are not cheap. It's what I'll be going with when I redo my exhaust after the engine swap.

Is the brand "thunderbolt metallic"
or just thunderbolt and they are metallic?
Reason I ask is because I found a few with the brand thunderbolt but not thunderbolt metallic

The brand is thunderbolt, you can find them on ebay. You want the metallic version.

I have them on my wife's C6 and I had them on my truck. They work very well.

Its my daily and I didn't want to have the stinky fumes. I didn't mind when I was younger and dressed up to go on a date all stinky lmao

Have the Magnaflow Y-Pipe and cats on mine. The pipe design alone is better than the original and the cats are not Chicom garbage.
