Default hey parish, nice run.

i finally downloaded your video. 10.91. thats awsome. but it sounded like your third gear held waaaaaaaaaaaay to long. by the way it pulled when you hit 4th, you should shift out of 3rd between 5-5500 or so. i dont know when you shifted out but it stayed at a constant rpm for like a second it seemed.

that would knock your times down a chunk. what you think? i will get you one day. lol not. im sellin my hemi and buying a ls1 Z. i got the bug again and the memories of my 93z m6 is coming back for me.

i know what you are talking about but you have it kinda wrong. the time when it stoped pulling was the top of 2nd. i am only about 1/2 way thru third at the end of the run. i have been fighting a top end miss but i think i have it figured out now. it apears to be lead fouling of the plugs.

now i put new plugs in before i goto the track and i dont get any top end miss, i can rev to 6500+ and it just keeps pulling. i have to wonder what my ET would have been on a clean run, probably a 10.8x.

no head lifting, the motor on that run is the same one that i just blew up, it ran strong from 5-7-04 till just a few weeks ago when that nitrous misshap took it out. i did push out a head gasket the previous trip to the track.

here is a gtech screen shot from that run, you can see the hp drop off hard at the top of 2nd.

could be it, just seemed like i couldnt hear it shift into second cause if it spinning, cause i thought i heard in a previous race, that it shifted to second real quick then third then fourth. maybe you just left it in first longer.

He was already making over six and a quarter with 16psi.

Head studs being the limiting factor I'm going to say you'll get to 800 RWHP with the new low-compression 6.6L block. Of course that is easily over 1000 at the crank. Good luck!

with a t76 and my current turbo set up and high driveline losses i think 800 would be dificult, it would be great if i was wrong.
