Man thats really nice and clean. Looks like you spent your time doing it. Just by looking you wouldnt know that its homemade. You could build those and sell on e-bay. Oh and I like the pretty blue filter!

Your system looks nice...looks like something out of the box. Just curious how you decided on the MAF location...most of the set-ups that I've seen have the MAF right after the filter/air box...is there any advantage to having it mid way through the intake tube?

I researched the MAF location as well and it seems like the consensus is that you will get a little better throttle response closer to the TB. Some people also said that you want cooler air at the MAF, so I kind of split the difference. I know for sure that you don't want it too close to the TB because the butterfly could disrupt the straight airflow the MAF needs to get a proper reading. I also noticed that OEM MAF sensor placement on other vehicles is not super close to the TB.
