That thing isnt even a "Lightning" anymore. It is a full out drag truck. Show me a street driven L that is fast than Parish and then that is who he should be lining up against.
And it kills me to say this, but that Johnny L truck is awsome. I think I am now going to be sick

Yes jl's truck is badass but as far as Im concerned until parish's truck is tubbed and has a tube chassis they arent even in the same category. After you did your 2wd burnout and put it in 4wd just punch it a little and see if all for kick in I know on my Z as soon as the light stops flashing on the autotrac buttons its engaged. The only thing that is finicky is putting it in 4wd low it seems to give me a little trouble. I would trust it if you blipped the throttle and all four kicked in. God knows you would still have enough power to break loose just the back two if it wasnt fully engaged.

I always thought that when you break stall, it would lock all 4 in place imediatley Is this not the case or is it just that you truck is so damn powerful it doesnt have time to lock. F- it do a four wheel drive burn out and show those chumps whats really up

On the TALON forum there was a huge debate on this subject. When is a lightning no longer a Lightning? My thoughts is that it started out as a Lightning and still has a SVT Lightning V.I.N. So it still is a Lightning.

Now a street dependable truck, that is a different topic. Parish can drive to the track, race and go home. That is a street dependable truck. JL will definately have to be towed.

As far as a street driven Lightning, then 03LightningRocks is your race. He runs in Fun Ford Weekend and it is driven to some of the events. He hit the 10's with only 19psi and no N20. But dials in 11.5's since he doesn't have a cage....yet. He is doing with 19psi what most people do with built motor, blower and N20. I'd say that would make for a good race.

Not to call BS or anything but.........I found his pics on the Talon forum and Im pretty sure he does have a cage and his best time slip in there was 10.96@124 which Parish did w/o N20. Also by saying that he does with a blower what most people do with blower and N2O are you implying that there are many 10 sec street driven L's?
