Yeah, I have bought some new brass terminals, but that rubber section around the current post, I think I have to cut it off to get to it. I'm gonna leave it for now and let the dealer fix it, if they don't want to I have the posts and will cut the rubber boot away. I have to expose thar connector from the + wire to get the current post out?

Here's a pic of the rubber cut away.

wow, that's weird Drew. looks like your red boot that is connected to your power wire if a little different than mine. exhaust sounded good. are those 3 wires that are in that one crimp all for your stereo?

oh, that's not my truck. your red boot should look like that except you will notice the red boot has been cut off in that picture. I took it in to the dealer today, 200 out of warranty (had the problem beforehand though) and they are going to do that and my groaning steering wheel (not power steering, this is up in the cab).

I would have done the battery this weekend, but why waste the time if it already had to go in for something else. I'll let you know what they find.
