Unhappy Help w/ PCM, truck not starting!!!

I just got back my PCM from Hypertech, they re-flashed it, and put it back on my truck. I recharged my battery and hooked everything back up and turned the key and it starts up and immediately dies. I heard that there is a re-learn process that I might have to do to get my truck to start. My truck has all the options: On-Star, pass lock, etc.

Any help with this?

ATTENTION: Your vehicle may not start unless this procedure is performed.

GM introduced an anti-theft system in 1996 and newer vehicles.

In order for your vehicle to start, you must perform the passkey relearn procedure.

If your vehicle’s battery is low, it is recommended a battery charger be hooked up at this time.

This Procedure will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

After your PCM is installed, please perform the following.

You may want to be outside your vehicle so shut the door, roll down the window.

PROCEDURE:

Insert key, attempt to start the vehicle and leave the key in the ON position.
In some vehicles, the Battery and Security light will blink for several seconds, and then shut off. Then the Security light will then remain ON. Leave the ignition ON until the Security light goes OFF. This will take more than 5 mins.

When the Security light goes OFF, turn the ignition to the OFF position.
Leave ignition OFF for 20 Seconds.

Attempt to start the vehicle again and leave the key in the ON position.

Once this entire procedure has been completed (three times) your vehicle will start on the fourth attempt.

Note: Some vehicles perform the relearn in a different sequence. You may notice your security light, battery light and abs light will alternate. Once the security light is left out of the sequence that is considered one step. Repeat the procedure two more times and on the fourth time your vehicle will start.

hope thats not to long. but it needs to be followed.

DAMN IT!!!!!! Truck still won't start. Called Hypersh*t and they told me to send my PCM back to them. I thought maybe there was a problem with the aftermarket alarm. Some dip-sh*t put a Viper on it, leaving the factory alarm in tact. (2 Alarms!?!) Anyways, I removed the Viper and still it won't start. I finally said F*CK IT and called Leo Martin chevrolet and the service advisor told me he had a similar problem before. He said Hypersh*t only re-flashes the stock program and doesn't do anything about the factory Theft-lock alarm. What a bunch of BS, this whole time (3 weeks) I've been dealing with Hypersh*t and they don't know WTF they're doing!!!!

So now I have to get On-Star to tow my truck 40 miles to Lake Jackson to get my PCM re-programmed. This sucks - 3 weeks without my truck, $40 shipping to send PCM to Hypersh*t, and now probably another $100 at least to have a dealer fix the problem!!!! I have never had so much BS over a product like this.

That sucks. I had to have my PCM flashed back to stock to get rid of the POS LOCKED tune Lyndon sent me. Not only did he send a tune that was worse than my 2 year old nephew would have done, but he also locked it to make it as difficult as possible for me to have someone who knows what they are doing fix it!!! He wouldnt send me a new one until I got the part number for the ASM 43lb injectors since he didnt believe they were really 43lb. How would you feel if you paid someone $500 for a tune and waited 6 weeks for him to send you something that was totally useless and then spend another $400 to have someone else get it flashed back to stock and then tune it so It didnt sound like Hiroshima everytime you give it gas!!! I feel your pain. Did you get your airaid intake tube yet??? You got the tracking # I sent right??

So, What tune are you using now? I assume Lyndon is Wester's, right?
I plan to get my PCM back to stock and keep it that way until I do some more mods, then I'll make the drive to Nelson's and have a tune done.

Sounds like you have been through a lot. I say get the truck flashed at the dealer, and what ever the dealer charges you, send the bill to hypertech. Let them pay.

EDIT:

Get a nelson tune, he rocks!!
