Unhappy Help with Tuning with the Diablo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the Diablo, and now I have some questions???

Using the Live Data, both LT bank one and two are +2.34% at WOT Isnt this a lean condition and how do I make it richer and what percentage should I take it to. Looking at old threads by Y2K his LT at WOT were 0%.

Also concerning the spark, at idle its 17-21.3 I havent checked it at WOT yet but should I change that as well???

Sorry for the question I might sound dumb, but I am new to tuning. I am here to learn.

Well, let me try and remmber. If you are + on your LT's you want to go PLUS on the on the Power Enrichment settings, NEG for - readings. Since you are lean, the + readings mean the computer is adding fuel, you want to PLUS the PE setting so the ECM doesn't have to add the fuel. I would set the PE to match the +2.34% you're seeing and then adjust from there. For the KR, you want to keep bumping the Spark setting until you see some KR on the Diagnostic mode at WOT, then back it off some when KR appears. I'm just going by memory here, I hope this helps some.

OK, I just got back from a run and added 2.0% and +3 spark. NO KR but one thing LT bank 1 was .78 at WOT, BUT bank 2 at WOT changed to 4.36? I might just take it out to the dyno on Wednesday and have a custom tune made for it. I will also have them remove 60% of TQ management, clean up the 1st to 2nd shift, in the performance setting it feels like its either hitting the RPM limiter first or I dont have the MPH setting high enough for the shift. But other than these thing I am happy with it. BTW Jim the settings that you gave for the trans shifting is pretty good.

I played with the Predator alot when I had it, I would also see different reading on the LT's, not sure why. When I had the HPP, I had the shifts set for +3 mph from 1-2 and +11 from 2-3. That raised the MPH from 39 mph on the 1-2 shift to 42 mph and 2nd from 72 to 83 mph. That raised the rpm's from 5600 from 1-2 to 5984 and from 2-3 from 5200 to 5948, whiched seemed to be the best. That's bascially I set the Predator shift for.
