i need some help, here about the last two weeks when i start my truck it idles just fine but when i take off it acts like it doesnt wont to go for the first 15-30 seconds, but after that it runs fine. any ideas? I would like to get this fixed before i take my truck to the shop to start getting all my mods put on.

 

try the easy **** first, fuel filter, throttle body may need to be cleaned. run some seafoam **** like that

 

Ye I thought bout the fuel filter but it would run funny all the time uh?

 

Any codes... Fill up recently? And clean the maf just in case.

 

There's no codes, what would be the best to clean it with

 

Crc mass air flow cleaner... Any parts store. Mine stumbled some when it was dirty and all the pollen now in the air.. Air filters are catchin hell

ye no go, used crc mass air flow cleaner, and cleaned the air filter, still acting slugish, any more ideas?

 

Would the o2 sensors have anything to do with it

 

Have you checked your plug wires and plugs? I had a similar problem in my old 04 5.4, thought I got ahold of bad gas cause it would stumble and sputter like hell taking off from an idle, but run fine once up to speed. I had one of my plug wires that got too close to the header and burnt up, never threw any codes, but put a stocker back on and the problem went away.
