The PCM is seeing too much air due to the bigger opening in the TB and doesn't know how to react. Thats why its throwing you into reduced power mode. If you shut the truck off and then restart it, it should reset itself but, it will happen again as soon as you get over 3000rpm or so and the air flow is too high. I had this issue with my Powerdyne. I had to get a custom tune to turn the code off. Do you have tuning software?

Where do you live?
Mail orders are fine. Just get tehm from one of the big names that do them (nelson, wait4me, etc)
If you're going to be doing more modding soon then spending a few hundred for a tune plus an extra PCM to get retunes done and shipping....you may be better off to buy software and learn. You can get setup pretty good for around $800 with either HPT or EFI. It sounds like a lot but it is cheaper in the long run. I spent well over that on mail order tunes, dyno tunes etc before I bought software. A dyno tune is still your best option if you can afford to get one every time you make a significant mod.

You have to fill out a worksheet.

Engine size, cam, power adder, trans, etc...
If you have a RCSB with a 5.3 and a 224/224 cam and you buddy has the exact same setup, you would most likely get the same exact tune. Go to the tuning section and read up. Plenty of info out there. Search for custom tune.

Allen Nelson has tuned so many of these that when you give him your setup and what you're looking for performance wise, he'll be able to get your tune extremely close to where it needs to be.
