Default help! no start after intake swap

well tonight i swaped out my K&n cone back for the stock air box(until i make a new sealed air box), after i put it all back together when i go to start it , it busts off for a second and then dies, it was running fine today until this , i have switched back to the cone filter, but still does the same thing, could the MAF gone bad or something??? i noticed a residue on the maf and cleaned it off with a q-tip and some eletronic cleaner, that didnt seem to help, i have no idea whats goin on please help

Did you damage the little electrodes on the MAF?

Check for air leaks after the maf. To me it sounds like you are getting air into the engine that the maf isn't seeing. The exact same thing happened to me when I ripped the intake elbow on my camaro.

Unplug the maf and try to start it a couple times.

did you disconnect your battery before you swapped back?? I have done this before and it was a security issue (the truck would stay running for about 1 or 2 seconds then die) Try disconnecting your battery and leave it disconnected for a few minutes.
