Default Help needed in choosing correct cam/heads for a blown 4.8

I am trying to find the right cam and heads to use with my Procharged 4.8 @8lbs. I am also trying to decide whether I should port and polish the stock heads, or go with a set of aftermarket ones. Any help is sincerely appreciated.

I personally would run the stock heads with a P&P job instead of shelling out the extra $ for new heads. on the cam I am not sure, but a call to a few serious ls1 shops like futral will cure that. How's the truck sound with no cats and the 40 series?

Thanks for the input. It sounds great without the cats and the 40 series. I used to have just a gibson cat-back and it is sure a step up from that. The Gibson set up sounded ok, but pretty hollow and sounded kinda crappy at high RPMs.
