I got an 02 with the 5.3 and it has lost alot of power it wont spin the back tires at all unless wet it has a single in dual out magnaflow on it had the cats checked today and their good has the check engine light on for knock sensor just trying too figure out whats wrong with it please help

 

??? You just said whats wrong! The knock sensors are bad telling the computer to pull timing. Replace them and the little harness they connect to and you should be good to go.

 

Pretty much summed it up right there. Takes a couple hours to replace them. Make sure you get new intake gaskets and have the fuel line disconnect tool.
