I just put one in my tank. 255 works perfectly with the factory regulator etc... its about as simple of an in tank upgrade as you can get.

I would recommend the walbro 400 over the 255. About the same price but better pump. PRC or brian tooley dual springs are good.

With a return style system you can use the 400... mine being returnless I would have overpowered my in take regulator.

I forgot you were dealing with a 99. I would also use the 400.

Flowtech SSHT with 228-232 612-600 111+3. Proven n/a cam and better since while rcsb 4x4 is heavy and 3.73s. 1slowz71 eric my buddy runs it and loves it. I had intended to use it but went with ls3 heads.

Thanks for the help guys. So say I went one step more aggressive, what are my gains/negatives? Im afraid of not going aggressive enough and being dissapointed. The driving ill do is the 2 miles to work on nice days, cruise around town on weekends, cruise to the lake etc..im not afraid of converter either. the 3k YankTT in my heavy (5900 lbs) tahoe seems stock to me.

something like the torquer v.3 which is a 231/234 .643/.598 or the 233/239 .595/.603. What is that higher lift of the v.3 going to change vs the lower lift of the 231/239?

Personally, I think the Tick Performance "SNS" torqueMAX Stage 2 Camshaft is a better choice than the Torquer V3. The intake lift on that V3 is a bit extreme.
