ok ladies and gentlemen here it is. as most of you know im building a ls 383 and i have flat top pistons and my 3400 rpm stall. trying to pick a cam that will keep me in the 1500-6000 rpm power band and give me a nice loppy idle and as much power as i can get.

i plan on running PRC stage 2.5 ls6 heads unless that sounds dumb and i am open to all thoughts and opinions.

Those heads would work great with your setup with just about any camshaft that you decide to go with. What do you use the truck for?

 

i mostly toy with it. its going to be weekend driver that i take to the track. i plan on calling you guys today and work out a cam option for me.
