Default Help me choose a cam!!!

Which one do you think would be good for a street application...I need reliability. I'm planning headers with 2.5" exhaust, intake, cam, tune. My overall goal is to be able to stay side by side with my dads Quad Cab hemi, which is a lot bigger/heavier truck. I have a 4.3 5 speed.

if you add up the prices of all those future mods they almost add up to the price of a good used 6.0. Save your money for a while cause that motor in that truck alone will beat your dads truck plus it has great modding potential.
Don't know about those five speeds though. thats gonna be your problem i would think, not the motor.
Great looking truck by the way! Love the shaved rollpan look

Fixed the link...

Thanks for the welcome guys...I didn't think you guys would let me in with the 4.3 haha, I feel like lower class . I know the 6.0 would be a great move and it would mate up with my 5-speed, I already checked. I'm just trying to do thing different and be original because in actuality my truck is a lot more show than go...and originality goes a long way at show scenes. I'm in the process of talking to Dave at STS turbo to see if he could fix me up with something for the first 4.3 turbo kit...which would be based off of the 4.8 kit. In other words, my truck only has ~60,000 miles on it and i'm not for switching out the motor until I get out of college.

The 215/220 shoudn't be too bad in the 4.3...I would look into some juice as said above. That would be the easiest way to match him.I also would have to say a 6.0L swap would be more money base wise the better choice...
