Default Help Help Help!!!!!

ok guys well a few months back my truck would go into REDUCE ENGINE POWER all the time. after searching i found out that it was a bad ground....so all was good....fast foward today, i went to get my truck retuned after i installed the 4.10s and it started doing it again. everytime i would floor it it would go into REDUCE ENGINE POWER but in normal driving nothing would seem to be wrong. now Danny (aka RGVSIERRA) told me that the voltage was at about 12.3-12.5. could that be causing the problem??? how would i go about fixing it? another quick ? the other day i was replacing the oil dipstick and i am guessing some oil dripped onto something directly under thand caused several sparks. how would i know the PCM is fried??

The starter is about where explaining that the sparks came from...you may have burned a fuse or fusible link...I'd check all of the fuses first.

voltage in the truck is at 12.3-12.5 with the motor running? that's way low, bad voltage is known to wreak havoc with the LSx motors.

the link looks like a wire but will burn just like a fuse.
are you putting out a charge or you just reading the power of the battery.
you should be up around 14 or so on a charge gauge.
