help finding leak
#2
Cut off a 3-4 ft. piece of old garden hose or heater hose. With the engine running, put one end of the hose to your ear and pass the other end over the exhaust flanges that you want to check. You should be able to hear the leak better with the hose.

get a buddy to help you on this. grab a rag and have him place it over the tail pipe with his hand. the idea is to prevent any exhaust from passing thru his hand. now you trace the exhaust from the rear to front looking for any leaks. if there are no leaks then the vehicle will stall. this is proven method

shove a 'tater in the tailpipe... thats what we did in HS LOL...
or just run your hand around the spot where you think there' a leak... you'll find it with your hand..... just dont burn yourself LOL
