got mine on both temp and a/c
anytime i turn the a/c on the fans are on.
came off of the fuse box there in the engine compartment. there is a terminal that becomes hot when you turn the key on. check it with a meter and you will find it.

Thanks for the help. They are LS1 fans. Is there a wire in the fuse box for A/C

just probe both the wires going to the ac compressor plug while someone hits the switch [make sure the fan switch is on] if i remember correctly it only powers on for a few seconds. for ign on power i tapped a fuse in the fuse box under the hood [its just a trigger and doesn't draw much current. you can get a fuse tap at your local auto parts store.

Yes ... the wire is green. It is in the fuse panel, in the middle section somewhere I think. It's been a while since I've been in there, but I think that's where it is.

take off the fuse block cover, press the release clip holding the front of the fuse block and it will hinge up. find the ac relay on the fuse block and then look under the fuse block in the gereral direction and look for the darkest green wire, i also believe it has a white stripe on it. that is the signal wire for the ac compresser. when i installed my flexalite fans, it went to the negetive signal connector. hope it helps! also, i got my ignition from one of the fuses up top, it was in teh certer called ignition i believe. the best thing is to have a test light and take out the fuse, use teh test light to see if it gets power with the key on, and no power when the key is off. good luck

I think any of the pink wires in the fuse box are "ignition on" wires. There are a lot of them under there, so take your choice, but just check it with a test light first.
