there is one sure fire way to get rid of TM but it has some side effects.

go into the table labled something like "max timing retard" not sure if that is exactly what it is called but something like that. on my truck it was at -10 all the way across, i put it at +15 all the way across.

so far it looks like it also disables the "timing vs IAT" but that doesn't really hurt unless it is prety warm out, like around 100 or so.

there is one other thing i have been seeing, the KR still works but i think there is a KR learn function where the computer will learn to pull timing when it thinks it is going to see knock, i don't think that function works anymore either. to me this seems like an ok set up for now, it allows me to see when their is knock without the computer pulling timing before it even shows up. if i know when it is hapening maybe i can do something about it.

red53gmc knows how to get rid of it and he didn't mention any side effects doin it his way. you'll have to ask him but it sounded pretty damn easy to do.

Go to this page, web page There is a lot of info on there.

I copied this from the page, I have no idea if this works, because I do not have LS1EDIT. Hope this helps, Kent.

How can I permanently remove Torque Management?
Go to transmission -> A4 Shift Firmness -> Torque reduction and zero out the table
Trans Cal -> A4 Shift Firmness -> Upshift Torque reduction - zero out the values
Engine -> Ignition -> Max Torque. Set it to 1000
Engine -> Ignition -> Torque Reduction. Zero it out.

It worked for me. ATAP confirmed it. No timing retard during shifts. Well, maybe 1-2 degrees, but that may depend on how firm the shifts are set at.
