Hey I spoke to chris from hunterperformance.com I already explain everything for my truck what I need also I still do tow sometimes. He offer me to run cam which is custom hps comp cam xer lobes duration @ .50 int 232-ex 234 lift int 595 ex 598 on a 114 lsa. And comp cam dual valve springs set 921's I dont want run dual spring or I have to?? That is to much for those? Also they offer me get circle d 2700 stall? Why cant stick with 3000 stall? Do I have to get comp cams ls2 adjustable timing? My truck is 2006 Silverado 5.3 Im confused. When some people offer tr220 or 212-218. Now this different info. It seem not right to me. I really want to know and safe my neck than sorry to buy wrong kit. I want find right parts before I order it! Can you guys help me out this detail?

that sounds like a bit too much cam for what you are looking for. TR220-112 or 114 seem to get great results. The double springs and timing chain, all that stuff is suggested for insurance. You are in there, why not change them.

You are not going to be able to run a stall that large, cam that large and expect it to be good to tow with. You either want a tow truck or a performance truck. You can get a 2700 verter that will allow you to tow. That cam sounds a tad on the big side for what you want to do all around with your truck. Stick with the tr220, a 2700 converter. It will not be a super tow truck but will get you by to do what you need it to do. It will not be the best turbo cam, the with a 112lsa. You need to make up you mind 100% and go with it, stop talking your self out of 1 thing or the other.. Get what is the most pratical, best all around suited for you.

232/234 and a 2700 converter? Those guys are idiots, dont listen to them. That setup isnt good for racing or towing, completely mixed up.

Wow - that's a monster cam for a 5.3L towing truck. Out of what you mention, the 212/218 low-lift with a modified TB converter (something like the Circle D 2600-2800) sounds like the best of both worlds for towing/performance optionality. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Okay so tr220 will be good for turbo if I get turbo in future? MEan I not have to change cam aagain. I do tow sometimes not as everyday. Like atv, tahoe boat and (rarely tow k10 truck) Cant stick with 3000 stall for tr220? Single disk circle d right? I just want this do for race, streetable inculde. I thought 114 lsa would be good for turbo and n/a engine. Sorry I not try to ask to much question. I just want to get things done asap. I cant order without I know something right or wrong. how many rpm would up after you put a aftermarket cam? What is your really opition about cam which is best for n/a and boost (turbo)

If you able explain why two different low-lift and high-lift on 212/218?

218-220 5xx 5xx on a 114 lsa, a 2700 converter would do well both turbo and NA
