Who's going to tune this for you? Don't bother with a mail-order tune. It won't fly.

Why not just get a custom grind 220/220 on 110 lsa? That would lope just as hard and not be as big of a bitch to tune.

That or why not just stick w/ a 212/218 high lift comp. Would make a great cam for the 4.8, should lope pretty good w/ the smaller displacement, and would not be a complete bitch to tune

I'm not saying you cant go with the 224..
obviously I did, and got some good times out of it..
but alot of guys dont have access to the right tuner, and well, they start saying the cam isnt any good, or it's to big, ETC...ETC...
If your not going to be able to play with the tune, then I would suggest finding another cam..
as stated before..
a mail order tune will do you no good with this cam... it will never run to it's full potential.

I dont know of any other cam to get the times I have with the 224..
but I have seen people put down better RWHP numbers than me..

It's all in how you set it up...

u should go for the 222/224 cam on ur 4.8..a friend has that cam in his 4.8 and hit a 13.2 in VALLEY HOT weather about a month ago so in winter he could break 12s N/A...with nitrous he's hitting a 12.2 right now in hot weather as well...u can PM RGVSierra (Dan) for more info on his cam since he tunes that 4.8 as well.
