Default Help! Az emissions no cats?

2008 with long tubes ory, how do i pass? Aparently just " turning off the rear o2s" is a no-go. Any local tuners in phoenix? What do I have to do? Going back to stock is not gonna happen I had to cut the pipe it was completely frozen.

Not certain, but you'll atleast need them plugged in as they can never be ready with no power to them. Zip tie them to the frame.

Why do you say this? did you already try and get it tested? where did you go? I am in AZ too and I will have to get mine tested in march so I am curious as well.

I'm in NC so it may not be relevant. Here they pug into the OBD2 and do a visual. I have the catted Y from Kooks but still had to turn the rear O2s off on HPT to get the CEL off. I have no issuses passing. Its said all the time, so heres my "dead horse" time: theres zero to gain from going catless unless you're making stuppid high power.

I failed lol. Something about readiness of rear o2's. I dont think its the tuners fault I just said turn them off but I think theres more too it than that.

You're allowed to fail one readiness test in Arizona on an ODB2 vehicle. Any more than that is an automatic fail, no matter how the vehicle scores in actual emissions testing. Your tuner should be able to plug in and check the readiness tests. Just make sure he doesn't write a tune or clear codes because that'll reset the readiness tests.
