I need help, I need to know where switched power is under the hood, I am trying to wire my electric fans and cannot find a switched power wire that cones on with the key for wiring LS1 fans on the truck.

 

Take off the cover of the fuse box then left up the part that has the fuses so you can see the wires under it. Your going to see 6 "blocks" of fuses. Look to the far right column of the center block and count down 9. There should be a pink wire there. That's the wire you want!

 

The pink wire is a heavy gauge wire and is also in the main round bundle coming from the truck to the fuse box. The pink wire is very easy to find from under the dash also. It is in a group of about 5 wires coming from the ignition bundle in the steering column. It has a brown and I think a yellow wire right next to it. Good luck.
