Nope no progress last night.... I got off work around 7:30 and i was beat, the goal for today is get my exhaust off and front brackets off and maybe the heads...

I am curious to see how well the coatings on my headers are holding up...

I like the specs on that cam. When I finally cam my NNBS 4.8, I'm wanting to go with a lower duration TQ Cam like that with a tight LSA, so I am definitely interested to see how this one works out for ya.

Well i got off work early today and I was able to get my exhaust off and the heads off!!! The pistons and heads don't look that bad at all, at least IMO... They only have 46k on them. Tomorrow starts the clean up.

thats just about how mine looked. Actually think my pistons were a little cleaner. I was pretty surprised. I like how you've got your wiring done.

Anyone got some tips on cleaning up the block? I was thinking since it is cast, i was thinking about scotch brite pads or razor blades and carb cleaner... Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, i did that awhile back when i swapped to the LS6 intake, and then i took it off and sold it... I might actually get around to putting wire covering on it this time...
