Question Heads/cam pair for 5.3

Noob here,

So I know I could do better with a LQ9 or stroker, but I don't wanna.

That said, I want to over time build up my 5.3 to a strong n/a motor and then do radix, so we gotta keep CR reasonable.

My question is this, has anybody got some numbers on head swaps with particular cams. BTW, this is a daily driver so I want relatively smooth running and reliable. Money is an object.

I have found some heads at Texas Speed and performance (stage 2.5)that look pretty good....but I am new at this so I could be wrong. I PM'ed Trevor over there to get started.

Advice?

Yeah thanks, I saw that thread already. I hope you get some good numbers. I guess basically what I am getting at is: will it be cost effective to bother with a head swap on this motor? Or will I have more bang for the buck upgrading my current heads with bolt on valve train upgrades, and have a port/polish done locally?
