Well I was goin to do a cam swap in my truck and saw all the extra work I am goin to have to do with having a DoD motor. I figure since I have to pull the heads I should just spend the extra money and get new heads as well. I am looking to go with the PRC 220cc 5.3 stage 2.5 head cam combo from TSP. I dont care for the off the shelf cams I was wanting to go with a custom grind and wondered what you guys would suggest. It is goin to be a daily driver and I will not have long tubes or a stall for a year after the install. I will be goin with a stall and LTs as soon as i get the cash. The cam i had picked out was a custom 218/224 563/568 XE 112LSA 108ICL. I just wanted to get ideas from you guys on what you thought a good cam would be... If you were wondering why dont you get LTs first.. I am not goin to justify 1500 for just LTs when I can get a head cam combo with everything I need for 2200. If you were wondering what I was driving the sig below should tell ya.. I am very open and not goin to frown apon any ideas.

. . those 243/799 heads . . . are working awesome on our nnbs .. . but PRC2.5 are a good option 2 . .. . those cam specs ' look nice.. it should pull pretty good mid-top END . . . if i were you . . I would do the complete set up . . with ls7 lifters, ls7 valley cover , pushrods,springs, & cam .. . headers are helping alot . . and a stall will get ur big boy moving from dead stop ' . . keep us posted on ur swap

im curious about these heads as well, anyone know what kinda gains would be seen changing the 243's out for these PRC's?
