You'll lose low and mid range power with true duals of 2.5" or greater. If you do them, 2.25" is plenty large on a 4.8 or 5.3

A solid quality catback and full length headers (The Other Guys, Arizona Speed and Marine, Bassani, Thorley, etc) would be fine with the y-pipe setup.

All the intakes do the same thing, allow more air in. I'd get which brand you prefer most...I got an FIPK as I got it for cost. That Volant is a nice piece, the UPD is too but cracks easily.

A Flowmaster won't gain much in the power area...I have a 40 Series and unbolted it to see how it'd run w/o it. It was noticably quicker with no muffler.

Hacking the cats may give a lil power gains, but not a ton by any means.

Don't forget Camaros haulass, our trucks don't stock. Their motors are larger and have bigger cams. To benefit from true duals, you'll need a cam that makes power well over 5500rpm and a stall converter to eliminate that deadspot you'd get with a big cam and a stock stall.

Is your truck totally stock now?
