I've been happy with my TOG headers so far. Nice fit and finish and a pretty thick flange too. I don't believe they are a true long tube though; more towards a mid length. Whichever header you decide to get make sure you get the ceramic coating. It's helps keep the temps down under the hood and stays the same color too.

That's the least they could do. The weld looks nice and all, but that thing needs to be machined. They must have some quality control issues. Nobody checked the flanges and nobody checked the collectors. I would make them pay for those stupid mistakes.

But to cheer you up, you have headers and I don't.

 

Look at this as an opportunity to "suggest" that they give you a replacement set that has been ceramic coated- for the same price.

With the amount of posting you do on these forums, not taking care of Grippy IS BAD BUSINESS!

 

They need to do somthing. Pretty welds arent gonna make up for some of that stuff. Those flanges dont look too good.

 

I totally agree with you, especially since there is a 4 week lead time attached to these headers, this very easily could turn into a 3+ month ordeal

Well, it does not work that way unfortunately. However, bad exposure in a public forum could lead to better quality control for all of their customers.

Sometimes there needs to be a wake up call.

I can only imagine what some of my clients would say if I gave them product quality like that...

 

Sorry about the mess up from the company but please tell us how the handle it since customer service should be number 1.
