Nope, I do not live close to the beach. I am about 15 miles from any large body of water. I want the AZSM headers, but I am afraid of CARB issues! Arghhhh what to do.

can't you get them while they are pending the carb license? then if they dont' get the license then slap a sticker on there that says they are legal. i am not from cali so i dont' know what you have to show in order for a shop to believe you.?.?

the main bad thing about the edelbrock headers is that they are only good for about a 5rwhp gain...shorty headers are just junk

Yeah, TOGs and Thorleys are the best choices for staying smog legal. Just depends on whether you want to pay about $500 (Thorleys) or about $700 (TOGs). TOGs are mid length headers and Thorleys are Tri-Y headers (somewhere between mid-length and long tube (cats are not moved in installation)). I have a set of thorley ceramic coated headers but haven't gotten them installed yet.(I need to sneak them away from my dad, he found em and told me not to install them. )
